The extension manager Pop-up failure problem

The extension manager always pops up when I open the Dreamweaver.  However, the manager always responded a failure result.  How can I stop the manager's updating process when I click to open the Dreamweaver ?

What version of Dreamweaver are you using? I'm assuming CS6 or earlier, as Adobe no longer makes an extension manager. So, a guess would be that you have an extension installed that is calling it. Please provide a precise narrative of this problem and I'm sure the solution will be fairly simple.
