trying to develop a login and registration page

hello,
I currently used dreamweaver to redesign our company website and I like so far but I don't have any information on how to do a user account web application. I am trying to develop a login and registration page that interacts with a database but I not sure how to with dreamweaver. I am familiar with ASP.net in visual studio but I don't think you can integrate the two. I know you can do it in dreamweaver but I am not sure how to do it and how hard it will be. Can someone give me any ideas or suggestions?

.visual studio but I don't think you can integrate the two.

You should be to. Have you tried making a template in DW and then
using it with visual studio.

I have not tried that but I just downloaded MS visual web Developer and I found it to be a solution I could use but the problem I have with that is this web sites I am supporting were originally created in DW. If I do that, I will need to find a way to migrate over as painless as possible. I opened up the sites in MS Visual WD but it gives me several errors but the sites work in dreamweaver. It might not be a big problem. I am not sure. I really like MS tools and I prefer to do everything through Visual Studio.

hi yea,
you could open dw, click f1 on your key board which should open dw help,
then

chooose from the content "Building pages that restrict access to your site
(ColdFusion, ASP, JSP, PHP)"


if you wanted to create your login using .net you might need a dw extension,
http://www.webxel-dw.co.uk/extensions/Features.html?ProductID=2 ,

I have not purhcased the above extension b4.

YEs. I know about the help but It is terrible in explaining how to do things. I may have to find a book to see how to use DW to go a login and regis. page. I have never used DW before. Have you created pages like these in DW and is it an effecient tool to use to so?

I know that how to make a login page in DW. What I have done is that I created a database in MySQL and linked the database to my login page and registration page using PHP. You can click on Help in DW and go to "quicky develop a web application".

I am myself is trying to find out that on login page each member should be directed to a personalized page but I could not find it so far. If someone knows please help me.
