New install 21.5   I have the server setup in site manager Connects with test. After a change in a file I hit cntrl shift S, it saves file to hdd., not to server.  My checks are exhausted  Any Ideas?

Use the Correct Shortcut

  • Ctrl + Shift + S saves all open documents locally.

  • To upload the current file to the server, use Ctrl + Shift + U instead.

Wappler is the DMXzone-made Dreamweaver replacement and includes the best of their powerful extensions, as well as much more!

Ctrl + S = Save

Ctrl + Shift + U = Upload to server. 😉

In case you don't know, Adobe has released another DW update, ver 21.6, which addresses bugs in the previous 21.5 release.

Hope that helps.
