uploading single files from computer to web

Using Dreamweaver I can not access individual files on my computer to uplad to my web site

I can upload the entire  directory buy cant figure out how to get to single files

1. If you haven't already, Define a Site.  Go to Site > New Site and create a local site folder.  C:\MyTestSite.

2. Use your computer's file manager (Win File Explorer or Mac Finder) to move files to your local site folder.

3. Open Files Panel in Dreamweaver (F8).  See screenshot.

4. Select a file from the Files Panel and click the UP arrow to PUT file on your server.
