User validation and servers...

I have implemented DW user validation server behavior on a set of pages hosted on a Windows server. This works fine.

Now I have implemented an identical DW user validation server behavior on pages hosted on a Linux server. No matter how much I tweak and check, this does not work.

I'm beginning to think that the Linux server does not accept the DW user validation server behavior. Could this be true?

Yes and no. I use Dreamweaver server behaviors on Linux and Windows all
the time. What matters is not the operating system, but the server-side
languages that the server supports. If you're using ASP, it's highly
unlikely (but not impossible) to be supported on Linux. PHP and
ColdFusion are supported on both Windows and Linux, but *only* if the
individual server is configured to do so.
