W3C Template help

Participant ,

hi.

What is the best way to use this template?

W3.CSS Template

I am slowly working my way through the css and picking out the class elements I think I need for the index. Am I right in doing this or am I wasting my time?

As I am a super noob I really don't know what to do about the scripts at the bottom of the index file, do I move them to tidy up the whole code or leave it as is? There just seems to be pages and pages of css.

Your help with this this is greatly appreciated.

regards

John

Go here first Learn Dreamweaver, get help and support | Adobe Dreamweaver CC and learn the basics of web sites using Dreamweaver.

After that you can decide on whether to use the said template or not.

Just to clarify terms, that's not W3C (World Wide Web Consortium)

That's W3 Schools, CSS template.

W3 Schools is a tutorials site and is not affiliated in any way with the W3C -- the group that sets web coding standards.

IMO, that template is too limited to be useful for more than a beginners web page.   Use it if you must, but there are better starter pages inside Dreamweaver.   Go to File > New > Starter Templates.  Select one and hit Create button.
