Web Pages not working on site?

Hello,

I am taking a web development class in school and have connected my website to Dreamweaver. Everything works as it should if I open the web page from my files. However, if I go to my website and click on what should be a link to another page on my site, nothing happens.

Basically, only the home page works for me. If I click on links to other pages on my site, they don't work. Yet, they work when I open the .html files from my computer. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you!

I'm guessing either the link path is broken or the file doesn't exist at that location on your server.

Did you upload ALL files to your remote server?

Can you share your site's URL here so we can check it?

do you have a web site definition, perhaps your web site was only built in DW from the file panel, having hard link in OS type... so it works from your hard drive, in DW , on your OS... but links are invalid once in remote server.

open a document , check the link, and post a copy on this forum
