Where do I find dreamweaverctrl.dll so I can install it? I am trying to create pages with asp.net for the first time but cannot get anything but the source code to show on the IE browser when using my f12 key. Paul Whitham a Certified Dreamweaver MX2004 Professional on this forum suggested that I haven't deployed the dreamweaverctrl.dll. Which is possible. I just don't know where to find it so I can deploy it. I've looked on my pc and I've looked on my Studio 8 disk and cannot find it.

Correct answer Winona
Okay. I uninstalled .net framework 1.1 and installed 2 and it is now working. So it was a combination of deploying dreamweaverctrl.dll and updating the .net framework. So, thanks to EVERYONE for helping me on this!! I'll mark this as the answer even though this is just a compilation of all the replies.

thanks again!

I have Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 installed on my pc. And I have now deployed dreamweaverctrl.dll thanks to PizzaGood. However, I still cannot get IE to render the web page. It only gives me the source code. I not only tried it from Dreamweaver using F12, I also typed in the localhost address to the file and it would not render it. So, I'm still doing something wrong.

If you are seeing the source code in the browser the most likely reason will
be that your running the page on a machine that does not have the .NET
Framework installed.

Get it here:
