Where should I start learning

Hello!

I am very new to appdev. I am keen to develop in this field. Where should I
begin!!! Please advice some beginners guide or pointer.

What do you already know? If you don't have a good feel for html and css,
start there. If you know what you're doing that far, what programming
languages have you used? If none .. the easiest to grasp would be the tag
based Cold Fusion .. beyond that, I would recommend PHP, especially if you
have CGI/Perl experience.

Buy Dreamweaver 8 'The Missing Manual' it is full of easy to understand examples- worked for me
