Question

Why can't I install extensions?

Hi I'm using Dreamweaver MX 2004 and want to install some new custom extensions and for some reason can't. I'm using Mac OSX 10.3 and using the updated extensions manager. When I try to navigate to the extension I want it can't be selected. When I look at the extension in the finder it is labeled as a dreamweaver extension. The extension file is compatable with my version of dreamweaver but the manager doesn't recognize it. Is there something I'm missing or something I can check. Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks....

Thanks for the help. These adobe forums are the best. Some other forums I have simple questions float out there for days/weeks. Thanks again for the help.

If what Michael suggested does not work, email the MXP file to yourself and
run it directly from your email client by selecting the attachment and
choosing "run" or "open". You must do this with a desktop mail program like
Apple Mail or Thunderbird. Do not use web-based mail for this. Macs have
severe file association and inter-app communications issues with
Macromedia/Adobe studio.

Try simply double-clicking on the mxp file in Finder.
