As we all know there has been a lot of talk about css grids, what most people don't know is why it came about and the thought behind its creation.
So here is a link to a very short video from Microsoft explaining why -

Yeah come on get on with it DW. Your paid for flag ship web-authoring tool doesnt even recognise grid exists while its FREE sister Brackets, along with the other FREE big players (I wont mention them in here because its embarressing for Adobe) all support grid code hinting and completion and all their internal 'live' browers support grid rendering.
php storm, which is another paid for big player amazingly and hugely surprising to me as I use it does not support grid code hinting/auto competion, I've asked when its to be expected. Thankfully its 'live' brower does support grid rendering.
Heaven knows why we pay money for and use products which arent even up to date when FREE ones are, laughable. I'm not happy.

You can complain all you wish, I've given up
As Ben hinted at in another css grid discussion, most of those 'advising' the Dw team are 'academics' not developers, and most of them certainly do not know about, read or research what is happening in web development or read w3c specs, (I say that knowing who many of them are).
