Dreamweaver crashes on launch in Catalina

Has anyone gotten Dreamweaver to load in Mac OS Catalina? Any tips to get to load?  It crashes for me upon launch.  Thanks!!

  1. Catalina is not yet an approved operating system. 
    Dreamweaver system requirements
  2. When the public release of Catalina officially arrives this fall, it will no longer support any 32-bit apps.

  3. DO NOT UPGRADE to Catalina until you are fully committed to 64-bit apps for everything including installers, supporting apps and extensions.

Legacy Creative Suite will not be updated to work on Catalina.  If you have a legacy CS product, your road ended at Mojave or earlier. 

 

Creative Cloud users should be aware of the known compatibility issues on Catalina.  

 

Personally, I would defer upgrading to Catalina for at least a month while the dust settles.

No.  This discussion began last summer when Catalina was still in beta testing.

 

Dreamweaver 2019 and 2020 are Catalina compatible with these known issues.
