Error 403 on an exported index.html file.

Hey guys,

I upload my index.html file which is made in Dreamweaver, HTML5, to my server and it gives me the "403" error. Then I copy and paste the same code but with a file that I made in my server panel, index.html, it works like a charm! does anybody have any clue as to what's happening?

Cheers.

Thank you for the reply, I went to look through my server's guidelines. and I have learned everything that index is case sensitive! Thanks 🙂 if it wasn't for your reply I wouldn't have found this.

403 is a server permissions problem.  Contact your host for details about which root directory to use when uploading files to server.  Your Root varies by hosting plan.   See screenshot from Manage Sites.
