Hi,
I installed Wordpress on my new hosting server HostGator but now I want to use Dreamweaver.
How do I uninstall Wordpress ad install Dreamweaver instead?
Do OI have to uninstall Wordpress? or can I have both installed on my webhost, website?
Dreamweaver will be no fun for you. It requires basic HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills which you don't have yet.
Look at Adobe Muse or Adobe Portfolio -- both are aimed at non-coders. The only difference:

both are two different tool... DW is a code editor, plus an IDE, and WP is a CMS engine
so you can have both living on your web server... thought I will recommand to move WP on a higher grouping folder...
- root-folder (www, httpdocs, public_html... whatever name it has)
- blog (or whatever name that you will choose, to place the entire WP files and folders)
- whatever others files and folders that you will create using DW
be aware that moving WP need to be adjusted in database (at least URL in the options)... I can point you to the right tutorial if needed
You wont have to install DW on your remote sevrver (and anyway it wont be possible)... you have to install DW on your local machine, and from there publsih (using FTP) all the files and folder that you will manually create to the remote space.
does this makes sense ?

Hi Thank you for your response
All I did so far was click this button on my web hosting site.
Unfortunately they did not have a button for Dreamweaver so I guess I have to install dream weaver myself onto the web hosting site.
This is a picture of the icon:

Actually I have not started tp use wordpress at all, can I uninstall in?
I don't see an uninstall icon here, so I am not sure what to do now.
Maybe I should not have clicked that button?
Where are these directories you speak of?
Regards

You DONT install Dreamweaver on your remote web hosting server. Dreamweaver is a local web-authoring program which you use at local level to create web-files which you then upload to your remote hosting server.
If you dont need Wordpress then unistall or just leave it on the server, its only space its taking up on your server but if you don't have much space then unistall it and re-install it if you need it at some point in the future.

I think the first thing you should do is to learn how the web works -
