Hello,

I do not see code in a Dreamweaver when I open ASP page in Design?

How to tab, change font size, and color in Dreamweaver?

    Hello Dreamweaver101.1,

Are you still getting the issue on latest update Dreamweaver CC 2017.5.

If code view is coming blank for ASP files, can you please share a sample file with which the issue is occurring.

My email ID is yprasad_@_adobe_._com (please ignore the underscores)

I've tested a couple random .asp pages in my version of CC2017.1, and they all show me the source code.

Could you post the code of your actual page to the forum?

It's possible something in the code itself is confusing DW and there may be a work-around that won't require installing legacy software (though that may be the easiest solution).

On the question of getting support for classic asp technical questions.

I have not seen anyone who uses classic asp post in the forums for a few years now, so I would advise you to look at other forums, though many have also little in the way of classic asp support due to the development of classic asp being dropped about 15 years ago, in favour of asp.net.

Even Microsoft forums now have very little activity.

Dreamweaver CC has very little support for ASP files.  You also need a testing server to see server-side coded pages.

You should revert back to an older version -- CS6 which had more ASP support.   You can do this from your Creative Cloud Desktop App by clicking on Apps >  FIND ADDITIONAL APPS (see screenshot below).

Alternatively, you might want to use a Microsoft product to work with your MS ASP projects.

Design view does not support the display of any server side code. Live view i do not know if it supports asp, but even so it will require you to set up a testing server that does include support for asp.
