I had a perpetual CS6 Fireworks license and I now have 26 days left to sort out the activation problem. My old laptop bricked after a BIOS update, although I do have just the drive kept. I phoned support and they couldn't do anything to help reset, despite having done so a couple of years ago when this last happened.
Is there any way to solve this? I don't want to buy new software, and this does everything I need. I also have a CS4 license, but not the install file. Would that make a difference?
Desperate for help,
Lindsay
A bit late to the party.
As you no doubt surmised by now, FW is end of life and unsupported legacyware. There's nothing much anyone can do to recover FW.
Just replace it with modern substitutes.
