On a Mac, the easiest way to launch Windows is to use a virtual machine. Parallels https://www.parallels.com/fr/ has been mentioned several times on this forum, but I've never personally used it, being Windows-based, FW has yet to experience the horrors of new operating systems in relation to old applications.

Hi, did you manage to find a solution to this? I agree, Fireworks is also my most used tool for tweaking graphics (nothing else as simple or quick to use) but I'm also considering getting a new Mac for video editing and everything else.

Hello, I am visiting adobe after months just to answer your question. Unfortunately, in my opinion, Adobe is making a huge mistake in this regard. A weapon like Fireworks dominated the entire graphics, animation and web industry between 2000 and 2018. Now, let alone this power, they don't even care about Mac. It does not work in any ARM-based environment, which is the architecture of the future. As a solution, I bought another application from AppleStore, which was developed by a team of former Fireworks software developers and was almost 95% the same in use. Moreover, a lifetime license is sold! The idea of renting disgusts me with adobe. I stopped working with a company that thought I was stupid. We removed Adobe products from all 15 computers in my agency and turned to alternative solutions and obtained a permanent license. Our minds are relieved. We have now put an end to monthly bills. The rush to keep a credit card limit is over. Gone are the silly days.
Unfortunately, I cannot give the name of the program here, it would not be ethical. But try typing "fireworks alternative applications" into Google and try "the ones with blue icons" 🙂 I hope it will be enough.
