Is It Possible To Get or Download Studio MX 2004?

Hello,

I have Studio MX 2004 (version 7, build 288), which I have been using consistantly since I purchased it in about 2004, and before, I actually ONLY use one of the programs on it, Fireworks MX, but I have the License for Studio MX, the problem is that the disk is broken so I can not re-install it...

Fireworks MX has been the best, easiest program of it's kind that I have ever used, and if at all possible I'd like to continue using it...

Does anyone know if there is any way to get a copy of it?

This version takes us back too far to the Macromedia era, and I'm not sure that a decent installer is still available online, outside of CD-ROM.

• You can try the Prodesigntools site, where you'll find at least the latest CS6 version, distributed mainly by Adobe, https://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html.
• Alternatively, you can try on the old Devnet pages, taken over and preserved by Adobe https://www.adobe.com/support/fireworks/downloads_updaters.html  
• And if you have access to a Creative Cloud account, by downloading it from the old applications’s section https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/why-has-adobe-stopped-developing-my-app-.html  

Anyway, I've tried to report everything concerning continued use of Fw in an article, sorry it's in French and you'll have to play translator if necessary https://www.puce-et-media.com/fireworks-chaud-devant/.

Sorry but nobody can help you.  Even if you could install it, the activation servers are long gone and the serial numbers that came with your disks won't work.  Unfortunately, MX 2004 from 20+ years ago is officially dead-ware.  Toss your disks into the recycle bin and move on.

No worries... Got it to work. I once again have Studio MX 2004 working on my new laptop (Win11Pro)
But, thank you for getting back to me... Glad I was able to get it to work, because nothing compares, this
is so much better than any other software I've used...

At the time, there was a version available that did not need activation. This special version has been made available, when the activation servers shut down. It was thought to be used by licenced users, but effectively, it got treated like a public domain freeware, what it never was. That window is now closed. Adobe is no more procuring this version.

For safety reasons, I must add here that we do not recommend untrusted software from untrusted sites.  These so-called 'free downloads' could easily contain malware, ransomware or other harmful viruses/trojans that could infect your computer and put your equipment and data in peril.
