Hi, it seems I have to enter a Serial number to access Adobe Fireworks CS6. I have a monthly Creative Cloud Subscription but just today, I can no longer access Fireworks.
Do I need a serial number or is there another way to open Fireworks?
Thank you
This is for all the people that have an active Full or or Student/Teacher Creative Cloud subscription. There has been an ongoing issue with Fireworks asking for a serial and running in trial mode, despite the user having a legitimate Creative Cloud subscription. It looks like Adobe have fixed this issue recently although there has been no official announcement (to my knowledge).
Before doing the following reverse any workarounds you already have set up/tried, for example remove the 'run this p
...I, too, had to install Muse (why?) to get into Fireworks CS6. My employer is an Adobe VIP and, after getting nowhere with Adobe chat support and getting nowhere with the email support, I got an email with the Muse solution from an Adobe Enterprise Support Team member. Here are the instructions:

Thanks Nancy. Still I will be asked for the serial number and can't open Fireworks. Is there a chance that Adobe supplies serial numbers to all who have Creative Cloud and want to use Fireworks?

The don't supply serial number, are you on Windows/Mac and on a single user or multi-user (business/teams) Creative Cloud subscription?
Do you see a 'license this software' button?

I would try uninstalling Fireworks and try installing it again with a Fireworks standalone offline installer from here
**NOTE** These are link to official Adobe installers, before clicking any download link you'll need to visit this page first and login with your Adobe account credentials, to set an Adobe cookie.
You you can also try this:
1) Make sure Fireworks is NOT open
2) Launch the Creative Cloud app => click you profile icon (top right) and sign out, then top left => file => exit to close the Creative Cloud app
3) Now launch Fireworks and you should be prompted to login with your Adobe credentials
4) If you see a 'license this software' button click it....

Which Mac OS do you have? I ask because 32-bit FW will never work on Catalina, Big Sur or Montery.

As a Teams/Enterprise plan holder, you should work with your IT dept. Your plan admin can open a support ticket through their admin console.

In the first instance I would try doing a conplete Adobe clean up with the Cleaner tool, reboot your machine and start a fresh installion of the Creative Cloud app
