       TypeERror: Error#1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.

        at ramp_usa_fla:: Main Timeline/frame 1 [ ]  "

I've downloaded Adobe FlashPlayer several times, it says I have latest version , it IS 'enabled' , and still I get this pop up a LOT !

I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, latest IE , HP 27 Omni .Suggestions appreciated,

I can tell you exactly what the problem is. You have an UNWANTED Web Helper on your Computer. You need to go to Internet Options. In GENERAL click ADVANCED. Go down to Browsing and UNCLICK third Party Browser Extensions. Click APPLY then OK and Restart. That will fix the problem.

I guess the major question would be "Do you  see this error with EVERY Flash video or animation you view, or is it just one?"

I ask because this error (ActionScript) references code written into a Flash animation by it's author. If you only see it on one page, it's in that particular page. If you see it in all, then it could be a problem with Flash Player or your browser.

Mike M.,

I see it, or variances of that ‘code’ on quite a few pages, but not all. A LOT though, and sometimes it just keep’s ‘popping up and popping up’ regardless of whether I click on ‘ignore’ or ‘dismiss all’ .

I’m normally using ‘Bing’ as my browser.

Thank you,

Drew

Drew,

Bing is a search engine. Internet Exploder is your browser, and it may be a large part of the problem. You may want to look at your ActiveX controls: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/867968

You might also want to try repairing it:  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318378

ActiveX is the #1 reason I don't use IE. They're outdated and in most people's opinion, unsafe. They have to be turned off for most things to work in IE, and that makes it vulnerable. That's why I don't use it except for testing... sicne 2002.
