Adobe flash 9

Every time I download Adobe flashplayer 9 my pc freezes up.I have to shut down and uninstall to make PC work again.What could be causing this problem? any answers are greatly appreciated....Thank you

I am having the same problem.

I cannot run IE7, Firefox, nor Opera with Flash Player installed. It will freeze my computer for about 1-2 minutes and use all resources. I have tried all options including full uninstall (w/ registry clear) and installing previous versions. I really do not want to have to reinstall windows.

Any ideas?

rubicon, can you be more specific? Does it freeze while you're downloading? After you try to view a particular site? IE6? Ie7? What version of Windows?

Also, both of you should open support cases via http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer.
