I get the Adobe Flash Information icon appear on the bottom right hand side of my desktop and it will not go away (Dont know if this is real or fake?). It doe snot indicate what to do - just sits there even after clicking on it. I belive it is to do with thre moval of Flash - but it does not do anything. We have uninstalled all Flash (as is required) but it keeps popping up each day. It been going on for weeks and it blocks that part of the screen and you can't move it. Even now I have to move the 'community ' screen across because my typing disappears behind the logo and I have no idea what is typed behind it if I stop or want to check spelling. Very annoying. Does anyone else get this. Is it real. Any solutions?? Thanks
Thank you so much!
I found the program causing the issue its an app called SmileBox I don't even use it anymore
thanks!

I too get the same thing I've tried the uninstaller and I've deleted all the trusted files still nothing... so frustrating b/c when I'm browsing you can still see it. I can get it to go away for a few hours then it comes back

The only solution I've found is to right-click the flash player window and select "global settings". In the "Storage" tab select the option "block all sites from storing information on this computer". You can then refresh the page and you won't get the popup again.
Here is a screen shot of the pop up

It looks like there's a program running on your computer that embeds Flash Player. Flash Player reached it's End of Life on December 31, 2020. As of Jan 12, 2021, Flash Player only loads content that's explicitly allowed (this is typically used in the context of large enterprise organizations with hundreds or thousands of computers and long-term Flash dependencies).
The icon you're seeing is letting you know that Flash Player loaded, but that the thing that it was asked to load is not allowed. If this were happening in a browser (the intended use-case for Flash Player), clicking the button would take you to a page that explains that Flash Player is EOL and that you should uninstall.
So, there's a program on your computer that's probably pretty old, and it uses Flash Player for *something*. If I had to guess, I'm thinking Screen Saver or some kind of video player. (If you figure it out, I'd love to know -- I'll add it to my list of possibilities.)
One way to figure this out would be to launch Task Manager (hit Ctrl-Alt-Del on the keyboard and choose Task Manager), then start killing things one at a time, until the weird overlay thing disappears. Whatever you killed (that isn't Flash Player) when it disappeared is most likely the right answer.
Also, uninstalling Flash Player at this point would be a great idea. It might also cause that program to just throw an error message, which would give you a good idea about what *else* on your computer needs to be uninstalled.
For convenience, here are the links to the uninstallers.

Sweet, thanks for letting us know. I'll put it on my list of suspects for future questions. 🙂
