    Correct answer

I have 4 files in the folder

    1.     Flash Install log file

    2.     Flash .ocx file

    3.     Flas Player .dll helper file

    4.     Flash Player Install/Uninstall executable

I do use 32 bit IE and it worked fine until most recent update to 9 although i am not worried if i need to get rid of it to remedy this issue as long as there are no other impacts.

Thanks so much for your attempts to assist.

    Hi again Jay,

The Flash files that are in the SysWOW64 location, those files need to be there, but more complete info should be listed.

Could you post back the complete info on the Flash .ocx, .dll & the .exe? Otherwise I have no idea what version you have.

Also, go to Tools, Manage addons and look for Shockwave Flash Object. What version is it and is it Enabled?

All of the above is important as they make up Flash Player. I do not need any Install log info, so please don't post that.

    Thanks,

Please start a new topic and provide all information about your environment, including operating system & version, web browser & version, and your installed Flash Player version.

Hi, I could give you a list of "ifs", but.... What is your Operating System and is it a 32bit or 64bit? What browsers do you have Installed and what versions? Do yo have Flash Player Installed in each if you use more than one?

    Thanks,

What is your Operating System - Windows 7

    and is it a 32bit or 64bit? 64 bit

What browsers do you have Installed and what versions? IE 9.0.8112.16421 both 64 and 32

Do yo have Flash Player Installed in each if you use more than one? it is only installed in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash i can not get it installed in the System32 path tried the Adobe labs as suggested on sites but all i found was the squared version for 64 which didnt help

i tried going to download adobe flash player site at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/download/?installer=Flash_Player_10.3_for_Windows_Internet_Explorer&p=Google_Toolbar_6.5&d=Google_Chrome_8.0&os=Windows 7&browser=ie&type=activex in 32 version but install will not initiate.

By the way thanks for your help.

Hi, thanks for all the info. I'll look it over closer and get back to you in a few minutes. All "H" is breaking loose. Youtube has changed their Player and creating havoc, LOL If you have any issues there, remind me and I'll give you the "fix".

    Thanks,
