Adobe Flash Player Installation on Windows 7 - 64 Bit

I can not get Adobe Flash Player to install I have

Verified my Windows is 64 bit - Changed the ActivX controls to the proper settings as listed

Shut down the Internet Explorer prior to installation

Downloaded & saved the file from Adobe

Nothing works It installs to 66% and stops Says it can not install and the Finish Button is there

What can I do Thank You

It always worked in Firefox

Are we done It still does not load/work in Internet Explorer

and please give the proper Active X Control settings

I changed them all and do not know what they are suppose to be
