Adobe Flash Player settings

Sorry if I'm asking an old question but this is my first time here.

My friend has created a flash website.

When I go to his site a popup comes up.

It's the Adobe Flash Player Settings and asking me to allow or deny.

I don't get this with other flash sites I visit.

How does he stop this message appearing. It appears on other peoples

monitors too so it must be the site I suppose.

This popup appears on IE and Firefox too.

I just want to help my friend to stop it appearing.

What's this settings thing all about anyway?
