Adobe Shockwave Player version 11.5.1.601 download problem

Whenever I try to download version 11.5.1.601it will go about one quarter ways through installation process then I get the message:

Error opening file for writing:

C:/WINDOWS/system32/Adobe/Director/np32dsw.dll

Click Abort to stop the installation,

Retry to try again, or

Ignore to skip this file

What does it mean? What do I have to do?

Try this

download http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/shockwave/default/english/win95nt/latest/Shockwave_Installer_Slim.exe (save to disk);
close all browser windows, then run the downloaded installer.
