an actionscript error has occurred

To get rid of it:

  1. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\[your_login_name]
  2. Open/create the file mm.cfg.
  3. Add the following to the file:
    SuppressDebuggerExceptionDialogs=1
  4. Maybe you need to restart the browser

Thank you for posting.  The other alternative, if you aren't a Flash developer, is to uninstall the debug version of Flash Player and reinstall the release version found at get.adobe.com/flashplayer.

When you visit this link with the browser that is displaying the error dialogs, do you see debug player = yes?

Thanks for pointing me to that part of the page I totally ovelooked it last time I was there.

Interesting it says I have the debug version but Programs and Features doesn't tell anything about it.

I must have accidentally installed the wrong version.

Is every stand alone installer of the Flash player a debug version?

Do you have contact with the people making the Flash player installer packages?

If so please tell them to add debug to the description in Programs and Features.

THANKS.
