Are you looking to disable updates "pre-deployment"?

I need to install flash through out network , I do it via MDT, also the update disable part, however the mms.cfg doesn't work on windows 7and 8 machines, I havn't checked for servers yet, but hope the same to expect in 2008 and 2012.

That's out of my scope. I don't do deployments. Sorry...
There are others here who do, and most likely one will jump in to this thread and advise you.

This info (and more) can be found in our Admin guide located here:
http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashplayer/articles/flash_player_admin_guide.html
Assuming a default Windows installation, Flash Player looks for the mms.cfg file in the following system directories:
• 32-bit Windows - %WINDIR%\System32\Macromed\Flash
• 64-bit Windows - %WINDIR%\SysWow64\Macromed\Flash
For update options, please see the "Update Options" section on page 29. If you continue to have problems, please post your mms.cfg and a flashinstall.log file so we can take a look.
Thanks,
Chris

I understand and have implemented this on Windows Xp machines, but for WIndows 7 and windows 8 the path is not created, as such the folder 'Macromed' is not created.
Am looking for options available for Windows 7 and Windows 8 machines.

These folders are definitely created on Windows 7 and Windows 8 using the paths listed above. I'm looking at them right now with my Win 7 x64 system.

I got to the folder and there is no mms.cfg there. Am I supposed to create it, or does something generate it?
We have Windows 7, mostly 32-bit, a few 64-bit. We deploy the .msi via command line in a script, which is deployed by Desktop Authority, usually silently at login. On some users' computers the auto update is enabled. We want to disable that, since most users are not local admins, and we control the updates.
Thanks,
E Powell
