Automaticlly updated to 13.0.0.206 and now flash plugin keeps crashing

I am using windows 7 and my flash plugin just updated itself to the latest version. Last night I could watch videos on youtube, dailymotion, ect and now when ever I load a video page firefox stalls and 1 min and later it says shockwave flash plugin has stopped responding wait for it to finish or end it now. Waiting does nothing and canceling closes firefox. I also tried chrome with the latest version and the videos all sit at 0.00 and never play. I don't know if the is the correct forum but I need help resolving this issue. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling flash player and that did not work.

Reinstalling Flash Player doesn't affect Chrome because the "PepperFlash" Player Chrome uses is embedded into the browser. If you're seeing problems with Firefox and Chrome, using two separate plugins, and one is NPAPI, while the other is PPAPI... I'd tend to think that the problem is outside of Flash Player and outside of the browsers.

Usually, choppy or stalled playback is the result of a connectivity or a hardware problem.

First things I'd look at:

Are your video drivers corrupted? That can cause this. See: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/945765

Have you hard cycled your modem and/or router?

Have you checked for firmware updates to the modem and/or router?
