Can't install Flash on my Mac OS X 10.5.8

New Here ,

I've just got my laptop second hand and have tried to install Flash on it. I've uninstalled like it said to do and now won't even try to upload the new one. It doesn't come up in my downloads. I had a similar problem with a work computer but fixed that whereas I can't work this out.

My laptop is a Powerbook G4 and has Mac OS X wersion 10.5.8, the processor is 1.33 GHz PowerPC G4 and memory is 2 GB BBR SDRAM.

It would be great to get any help.

Thanks.

It sounds like you're trying to install it THROUGH your browser (ie: Run vs Save).

Try downloading the standalone installer.

Sometimes the application preferences aren't set properly and they try to use an inappropriate application to run the installer file based on the source location.
