Can't start Flashplayer

I cannot run flash player - I installed successfully but I can't "find it". It's not on my desk top, or in my start menu. I've been trying for HOURS to get this going and I'm starting to panic. It is required for the new job I start tomorrow! Could someone please help?

Flash Player is a "plug-in" for your browser. You'll never see it in your Programs menu or on your desktop, because it's only a part of another program. You'll see it in two or three places.

1. C/Windows/System32/Macromed/Flash (also C/Windows/SysWOW64/Macromed/Flash on 64 bit systems)

2. In Internet Explorer, Tools>Manage Add-ons (Click the "gear" icon at the top right)

3. In Firefox, Tools>Add-ons (pr press Ctrl+Shift+A)

If you're using IE...
