Cannot enable Flash Player. Have checked that it is enabled in Add-ons Manager and that ActiveX is off, but still registers as disabled.

You can try to work around these issues by using Compatibility View:

Thanks Jeromie, I used to use Mozilla Firefox for many years and had no problems with it. For some reason in the past I had to revert back to IE. Perhaps I will try Google Chrome and see how that goes.

Yeah, there are some stability problems with Flash in Firefox that are specific to Win8.1. I think you'll have a better experience in the short-term on Chrome. We're working with Mozilla to address some of the intractable stability issues that we're currently facing, but I think we're going to make progress on those over the course of several months -- there's no low-hanging fruit there.
