New Here ,
Apr 18, 2018 Apr 18, 2018

Hello,

I am getting an error when I attempt to publish the Flash Player catalog for 29.0.0.140 in SCUP

I add the catalog URL

https://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/distribution/win/AdobeFlashPlayerCatalog_SCUP.cab

Then I see the 3 Adobe flash Players in the workspace;

But when I try to puclish one of them to the update server :

I see this in the log:

<![LOG[2018-04-17 14:29:50.247 UTC Info UpdatesPublisher.3 CabUtilities.CheckCertificateSignature File cert verification failed for \\SCCMSERVERNAME\UpdateServicesPackages\9c563bae-29df-4e1f-add4-b0455a672f20\aee193e6-5257-4608-bb4a-0d2a3880d6be_1.cab with 2148204816]LOG]!><time="10:29:50.247+240" date="04-17-2018" component="DEBUG_TRACE_REDIRECT" context="" type="1" thread="26228" file="">

The error you're encountering doesn't appear to be from the Flash Player package itself, additionally the error itself refers to a Microsoft API.  Thousands of enterprises use the SCUP catalog to deploy Flash Player monthly and yours is the only post I've seen on this issue, which usually indicates an isolated issue, normally environment related. A Google search of "Info UpdatesPublisher.3 CabUtilities.CheckCertificateSignature File cert verification failed" returns various hits indicate this is a signing certificate issue and/or the certificate is not installed to the correct location.
