As Paul noted, reverting back is the suggested fix for Firefox crash issues. Please see this post for more details:

When I revert to an older version of flash nothing works. It just comes up telling me that I don't have the recquired plugins.

Same problem; reinstalled old Flash player before 11.3, but Livestream doesn't recognize. Also difficult to know which of many versions of Flash to install. Usually, choice is made automatically. Isn't there a general SETUP.EXE file to choose which version?

Well, i've just made very interesting and curious discovery........... I un-installed Flash player, and went to YouTube to make sure that A. the videos would not play, and B. it asked me to install the flash player plug-in.
What i did not expect was for the video's to start playing!!!!!!!
What the... ?!?!?!?!?!?!
It seems that YouTube automatically reverted to a new 'trial' player using 'html5'.
I'm a big conspiracy theorist, and I question if YouTube might be blocking Flash in order to favour the usage of their new trial html5 player!?!?!

On Firefox and Opera, only videos with WebM transcodes will play in HTML5

that is if you can see this video, at least for a short wile like in my case.

i am having the same issues. Adobe flash player was working perfectly fine and then the next day I logged on it says I needed to download adobe flash player (which I thought was weird) so I went to look and I have adobe flash players current version 11 so I am not sure what the heck is going on. I cant view video, cant play games, and cant do alot of things that have to have adobe flash player. I have scanned my computer with malware, anti virus, anti spyware tried to redownload it but nothing helped. I have tried again to re download and update it but now it says only one can run at a time. What the bleep bleep bleep is going on? what has happened? I need it fixed asap. I have been trying to work on this for 2 weeks now with no avail. please send link to fix this stupid issue.

Was able to get decent results by rolling back to Flash 11.2.
Hope someone offers feedback on how the new Flash Player works, so I can decide whether to switch over...

Paul - Do you have RealPlayer installed? What happens when you try to run YouTube with Firefox and the latest Flash Player?
texaswolfsrain - what problem are you encountering? Are you also using Firefox? Can you confirm that you have 11.3.300.262 installed?

latest flash 11.3.300.262
i have real player installed (why does that make a difference though?)
today my problem is i uninstalled the latest flash update, then re-installed the 'old' version again (like i did last week to fix the problem). but this time the problem is still there - i can't watch a video on youtube...

I just uninstalled Adobe Flash Player (11.3) and my Firefox (13.0.1) under Windows 7 64 is now working perfectly! I couldn’t watch videos on youtube (it was annoying!) but now they are all working with no problem.
I reckon Mozilla has included a pre-video-accelerator in the new Fx 13.0.1 which seems to be in conflict with AFP 11.3. Please check this out. Hope it helps
