Flash.ocx is missing for Downloaded flash game

New Here ,

Reason I specify in the title is because that's where the issue lies, and not in the browser. Anyhoo...

Operating System: Windows 7

Browser: Firefox (Most current update)

Flash Ver: 16.0.0.235

I have a flash game downloaded onto my desktop. It has worked before so I know there's a solution, however I've forgotten it in the time I deleted it then came back to it now. Each time I attempt to play it, being administrator or not, I get the same Error message.

This program requires a missing Windows component

Check for a solution on the Microsoft website. If a solution is available, there will be steps to follow to fix the problem.

(Game details here.)

This program requires flash.ocx, which is no longer included in this version of Windows.

I've googled on how to fix it, one was un-installing Flash completely then re-installing it from the ground up. I have just done that and nothing changed. I also saw to download the .ocx itself and place it in the game folder that needs it, that didn't change anything.

Help?

Also, if I've asked this before and you remember me, sorry. I didn't bookmark the other thread and have forgotten about it.

The game is looking for the Internet Explorer version of Flash Player.  (Applications with an embedded web browser on Windows are usually embedding Internet Explorer instances)

The easiest way to solve this is to fire up Internet Explorer and proceed with the download at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer
