Flash Player 10.3.181.34 installation in Windows7

Hi there;

We roll out updates of Flash Player via Group Policy and it works fine for our WIndows XP SP3 pc's.

Windows 7 does not install the Flash Update via Group Policy - error in event log is:

The install of application Adobe Flash Player 10 .3.181.34 from policy Flash 10.3.181.34 failed. The error was : %%1603

Should we be doing something specific to install Flash Updates via GP for Windows 7?

Regards

Is there any additional information from the FlashInstall.log file from one of the Windows 7 machines where the update failed?

There is no FlashInstall.log for the installation.

I think the issue may relate to the specific pc rather than Windows7 in general

As I have installed it on a 3rd Windows7 pc via GP since I posted

Not in C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash (32-bit Windows)

nor in C:\Windows\syswow64\Macromed\Flash (64-bit Windows)?

Anyway, I haven't used GP in a very long time, so I may not be able to help you directly (just trying to gather information).

Maybe someone from the Flash Player team may be able to look at your problem during US daytime.  (Although Adobe seems to be in vacation mode this week.)
