So, I have a few EXEs on my computer, for now I wont say which ones they are, but lets say an example. You can complie a group of SWF videos into a Exe that dowsn't actually need Flash player to operate right?
When i go to start a few of these, they simply open, and then immediately close.
a few others work.
I did not make these files, I am simply using that as an informational reference. If you have a flash based EXE that is opening and immediately closing, how to you go about trying to fix that? Running it in any compatibility mode doesn't work, nor does giving it permissions work. the programs in question are all less than 2 years old, and I am running windows 10. I am using Firefox, but that is irrelevant, as I am not trying to run an Exe through my browser.

This will depend on how the exe is using Flash Player (which it most likely is, if it's loading swf's.) You might want to start by verifying that you have both the ActiveX and NPAPI versions of Flash Player installed on your system. If those are present, then you'll want to talk with the application author to determine what might be going wrong.
