Flash Player graphical glitches in linux

I am trying to use the standalone flash player in Xubuntu 18.04, but it is not working properly.  It will play flash files, but has many graphical glitches as shown here.  I have tried multiple versions of the standalone player, including the latest 30.0.0.113 and they all have the same problem.  Running the same flash files using a web browser and the flash plugin works with no issues, it's just the standalone player that does this.  I am not in a Wayland session.  Any help figuring out how to get it to work without these glitches would be greatly appreciated.

I'd recommend filing a bug over at tracker.adobe.com.  I have a couple theories, but we'd have to reproduce it and then debug it to really understand what's happening.  Please include a sample SWF and instructions to reproduce the problem.

If this is a high-density display (4K monitor, etc), you might try lowering the resolution to see if that works correctly.  It would be an interesting data point.

Thank you for the reply.

I have now submitted a bug report at this link: Tracker

I am using a 4K monitor, and tried setting the resolution down to 1920x1080, but the issue still occurs.
