flash player in windows 7

New Here ,
Nov 10, 2009 Nov 10, 2009

I have upgraded to windows 7 from vista. I have downloaded flash player. However in both Firefox 3 and Internet Explorer 8 I am requested to download flash player when it is required. I have followed the adobe instructions to remove and reload, change the security levels, remove the firewall. The files are found in "windows/system32/macromed/flash". What do I need to do to make flash player work?

Many sites confuse Flash Player and Shockwave Player, so they ask you to install Flash Player, when in fact they mean Shockwave Player.

Try installing Shockwave Player, then go and check if the two players work correctly: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/

P.S.  Flash Player works very nicely on my Windows 7.

Hello!   I too can't get this Flash Player back. I unloaded it by accident one week ago.  I'm on Window  XP  2002. Could my Window version be too old? Could there be a problem of too full hard disk?  Can't I up load the previous version of Flash Player????  THANK YOU!
