Flash Player keeps crashing

Flash Player keeps crashing - usually when I attempt to play short videos that come with common upright internet sites - eg YouTube; Shapeways and a number of others.

Can anyone help? In plain english would be helpful - my tech application knowledge/understanding is poor.

I use Windows 7, Firefox and have the latest version of Flash Player - no installation issue arose.

When FP crashes a black pop-up is shown telling me that it has crashed and to try re-loading. Worse still is that it has a habit of locking the entire computer and a shutdown/re-start is required

There could be a number of reasons for the crash and the best way to investigate is to provide a crash log so that we can investigate. Please read through the Report a Flash Player crash or error tech note and file a bug. Post the link to the bug record in your reply.
