Hi I'm using the flash player version 11.8.800.94 on firefox on window 8. Starting from a few days ago, while watching videos on dailymotion, after the video played for some time, the whole video will just freeze up, but the timeline is still running. When the video freezes, the audio will still be playing but instead of just continuing, the audio actually resetted to the beginning. I tried all the troubleshooting steps including clean reinstall of flash, update of video driver, firefox safe mode, clean install of firefox etc. But the issue is still persisting. Any help will be deeply appreciated. The issue only happens on dailymotion and not other streaming site like youtube.

"some time" being how long, average? I have tried several videos on that site, and I could watch all to the end, without a problem.

The timing is actually different every time. On average I would say about 4-5 minutes

Just watched a much longer video; no problem watching it to the end.
All I can suggest at this time is that you contact the website for support.

Hello, I have this problem too 😞 Did you have it solve yet? 😮

Hello. It's not solved yet... I followed what Pat said and sent an email to the Dailymotion support team. According to them it's a known bug and should be fixed in a week time. I emailed them about a month ago and the issue is still happening 😞

😞 This happens in my mobile dailymotion app too so can't use dailymotion to watch videos properly anymore 😞

Did Dailymotion mention if it was a bug in their code or Flash Player's?

Nope. They just mentioned that it's a known bug and that they will be releasing a fix soon. Their full reply was "Thanks for your report, we are actually working on this bug and hope to fix it as soon as possible.Note that it might take a few days before the fix is deployed on our site." on 12 September.

Ok, thank you. Sounds like a bug on their end.

If I can add to this, I am having the same problem with dailymotion on firefox. It is curious that a few times I can play whole videos, but most long videos will redirect me from dailymotion to http://downland.adooadbn.com with a message telling me to update Flash.
Honestly, it looks like Dailymotion making money out of a contract with that website.

Hello,
http://download.adooadbn.com is not an Adobe site. Since dailymotion is the one sending their users to the wrong website to download Flash Player I recommend you contact them and inform them of the problem with their site.
