Flash won't intstall, says its already running when its not

Flash Player tried to update then chrashed and then the update wouldn't load because it said only a single instance could be run at a time. I've shut down the computer unistalled and deleted every bit of flash player i can find but when I try to install it again it still says only one instance can run at a time and won't install

I'm using Windows 7 and Internet Explorer, If someone could tell me how to make the installer load I'd be very greatful.

Thanks for the reply but I had already tried that before I posted on the forum it showed the same, only on instance ay be run at a time message
