Full screen mode in Flash Player closes or minimizes after 20-120 seconds

The full screen mode not staying open has been an issue for about 2 weeks now. This problem seems to happen with both Moxilla and Chrome and on many different sites like YouTube, Facebook, etc... Kinda annoying when your trying to watch a video or stream it to TV. Any suggestion on fixing this?

I think that because your version of Flash is out of date and you should update to the new version. Or maybe again is due to your flash is not installed properly, or do you use your computer in high performance makes the flash on the browser broken or paused abruptly. In the past I've been like you, but do not remember what the cause is, if you remember, then it will definitely be helpful for you. I've stopped trying to flash when accessing in thiet ke web ban quan ao

Usually this is an OS setting (Power Options-Windows or Energy Saver-Mac OS X). I keep all my hardware set to the most unrecommended power settings (always on, never sleep, never dim, etc.) I can't recommend that you do the same, but my machines are on 24/7 because of my schedule and my needs as a webmaster and troubleshooter.

Thanks for the suggestion and that thought occured to me as well. That dosen't appear to be the problem though. My custom settings when plugged in are to never dim or sleep and to turn off monitor after 3 hours. Also tried switching power plans and then going back to my custom settings and it did it regardless. The player closes even if I'm wiggling the mouse across the screen. Other players like Silverlight on Netflix are not affected and work just fine. So I am pretty sure that it is a flash player issue. Any other suggestions?

Hope the following info helps provide more insight.

Flash player version: 12.0.0.77

OS:  Windows 7 32 bit

Browsers: Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox

I have tried:

flash player is up to date, browsers are up to date, deleted all flash player browsing data, removed cache, disabled hardware acceleration, website storage settings are at 10 MB, disabled and enabled plugins and there are not multiple versions of flash player installed. This just started happening about 2 weeks ago out of the blue. Perhaps and update issue??? Please help!

It's more likely a browser issue, or even a mouse setting. The Player has nothing in it to control full screen. There is no place in the Settings or Global Settings where an end user can set parameters for full screen. It's ALL controlled by the code in the page and the browser's interpretation of that code.

Nothing in Settings re: "full screen"

Nothing in Global Settings re: "full screen"

Also, SilverLight uses ActiveX and the ActiveX plug-in. Firefox uses the Standard Plug-in, and Chrome uses "PepperFlash", which is a proprietary PPAPI version of the Standard Plug-in (no ActiveX). So if the behavior is the same in FF and Chrome, with two different and separate plug-ins at work, it has to be something outside of Flash and the browser that they both share... like the mouse, or something in the Window shell for prioritizing the foremost window.
