Hi,
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is not an Adobe Certified device and thus does not support the Flash Player.
You can find a list of Adobe Certified devices here: http://www.adobe.com/devnet-apps/flashruntimes/certified-devices.html

Greg

Gregory: can you find out where that page has moved? Or has it been intentionally removed?

A big THANK YOU. Over the last few months now I have spent hours here & there looking for a way to load Adobe Flash Player onto my Galaxy Note 10.1. I went to
http://www.adobe.com/devnet-apps/flashruntimes/certified-devices.html
as you suggested and found version 11.1.115.12 (I have Android 4.1.2 and I found which version I needed in my wanderings) and it WORKED. It was so simple. I had to use my Yahoo browser. Firefox works on my pc not so great on the note.

Android's reason for Dropping Flash support is the same as Apple gave in 2006 when they released iOS 1 which is incompatible. Playing Flash Content is processor consumptive and kills batteries, as well as shortening battery life in mobile devices.
Android recommends using "Dolphin" or "Puffin" because they render Flash content "server side" and reduce the load on your device. Both are free in the GooglePlay store,

Hi,
Each Android phone or tablet has slightly differnent settings menus but generally speaking you go to Settings > Security (or Applications on older android devices) > and select the Unknown Sources option to allow manually installing apps.
This FAQ page is a video tutorial which demonstrates how this is done.

Hope that helps and please let me know how it goes. If it was helpful feel free to click the "Was this helpful? Yes" link above.

Question for you please. Does this install an app or just on your system. How will I know it has been installed. I have followed the instructions and need to try it out. Thank you very much. It actually stores it in the Samsung Media Hub..is this correct?

Hi,
for the galaxy note 10.1 tablet
click on "settings" then click on "security" tab and under device administration on right hand pane, check box marked unknown sources, allow installation of non market apps.
this will then allow flash to be installed
for security I would recommend that you uncheck the box to restore default setting.
hope this helps

All you need to do is sideload the old Flash .apk and use a flash supported browser. I can play Facebook games and stream Amazon Instant on my Note 10.1. This article might be helpful: http://galaxynotehelp.com/run-flash-on-your-samsung-galaxy-note-all-versions/
