Help with installing adobe flash player.

I can't seem to install flash player. After downloading the flash,I click on it to open but it says that the link needs an application to open. What should i do?

Thanks for your help,somehow when I download it again today,it worked for me.Sorry for wasting your time,because it really didn't worked for me yesterday and I tried around 5 times.
