Legend

No need to install Flash Player on Windows 8 for IE (both desktop and Metro.) It is now installed by default with the operating system (and updated using Windows update.)

I have repeatedly installed it because some websites are saying I need it. It says it installs correctly, but when I go to Adobe and do the diagnostic to tell what version I'm running, nothing shows up and web sites continue to say I need to install it.
