Unless I am missing something here, this should be a very simple operation. First, I guess you already have your Firefox version downloaded.  Then, you can check out the computer system requirements (operating system, etc.) for different versions of Flash:

    .

Flash 10.1 at  http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/systemreqs/   --  and you can download 10.1 here

    .

    Flash 9 at  http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/productinfo/systemreqs/flashplayer9/   (download at   http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/406/kb406791.html  )

    .

    Flash 8 at  http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/productinfo/systemreqs/flashplayer8/

You can download the archived Flash 8 versions at http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html

    .

So, just download the appropriate Flash version to your desktop (it will be an .exe file), right-click on it, click "Open" in the dialog box that pops up to run the program, and Flash will be installed on ALL "Netscape" type browsers that you have and not just Firefox.  Note:  you must close all browser windows before installing.  Also, Adobe recommends that you restart your computer before you install the Flash Player.

    .

So, you should be in business.  I hope this answers your question.
