I am running Flash player 17.0.0.169. Works fine everywhere but You Tube. I get no audio there.

Could it be a simple issue of the sound being muted?

Right click on the volume control icon and choose - Open Volume Mixer. Make sure Firefox one is not on mute.

I assume you have checked that in YouTube, the videos are not at mute?

A few things to check:

* Does it happen if you try with another browser?

* Is it all YouTube videos or just some?

A thing to note is that YouTube has been moving away from using the Flash player for videos. It is now primarily done through HTML5. That means, the audio issue you may be facing could have nothing to do with the Flash Player.

Good call Dean!!! Tried in IE and it worked fine. I've been using Firefox.

Soooo..... Is there an easy fix to get it to work in firefox or should I go to their support forum and ask there?

By the way, thank you for your insight!
