I cannot Download the latest version, which from web enquiries appear to be a widespread problem

I have used Flash Player for many years, but several recent emails with video attachments would not open with there being a message I needed to instal the latest version. All attempts to do this have failed I only get  to stage 1, clicking back or help is of no use.

Enquiries on the web show this to be a widespread problem.

What Operating System do you use?

OS X can be 10.5.8, 10.6.8, 10.7.5, 10.8.5 or 10.9.2

What browser do you use?

If IE, give the version number (8, 9, 10, or 11)
