i CANT INSTALL flash player 10! myspace player doesnt work but youtube does. PLEASE HELP ME

I can’t listen to music on Myspace anymore!

it says I need the new version of flash player for it. So I go to adobe website try to install the Flash player 10.0.022.87 but nothing happens, actually the box asking me if I want to install appears, but after that nothing happens.

The weird thing is that I can perfectly watch videos on YouTube and play flash games as well. I know Myspace isn’t the problem because everybody I have talked says that the Myspace player works just fine.

I hope you can help me. Thank you

Ps: I use Internet Explorer 8 and Windows xp

Try the offline ActiveX installer, as follows

• download the FP uninstaller from http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_14157

• close all browser windows and run the uninstaller (to uninstall any earlier FP versions)

• download the FP installer for Internet Explorer:

  • http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax .exe

• close all browser windows and run the downloaded installer(s)

To check the successful installation go to

http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

It doesn’t work. I have tried to uninstall it but it gets stuck in the middle of the process. FP cant be uninstalled.

It says "extracting: FlashUtil.exe

I don’t know what to do.

I see the animation but myspace player still not working. I’m confused

After restarting the computer and trying to do it again and again it finaly worked!

I still don’t know what was wrong tho
